Scott Rogers, BEM, is an English football coach, best known for leading the England Amputee National Team to their first major honour in 34 years.
In June 2023 he guided England undefeated through the inaugural EAFF Nations League in Krakow, beating Poland, Spain and reigning European and world champions Turkey to take the title. The trophy went on display at the National Football Museum in early 2024.
In the 2026 King's Birthday Honours, Scott was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to disability sport, recognising his work raising the profile, standards and visibility of inclusive football across the UK.
Scott began his career in education, training as a PE teacher and going on to become Head of PE at St John Rigby College in Wigan. Alongside teaching, he spent more than 20 years in youth football development, including academy roles at Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic.
He moved into international disability football in late 2020, joining the England Amputee set-up as a first-team coach. He travelled with the squad to the 2021 European Championships in Poland and the 2022 World Cup in Turkey, before being appointed head coach, on an interim basis from December 2022 and permanently from April 2023.
Scott is also a familiar voice in disability football broadcasting, working as a pundit and analyst for TNT Sports, including their coverage of the Amputee FA Cup Final.Â
